While we ultimately loved our time with the collection and found the quality across the board largely excellent, there were a few moments that yanked us out of the brick-shaped experience and left us feeling a wee bit lost, befuddled, or frustrated.

These races are required by the story, but only the Bronze level are necessary. How to Play as Ray in Sonic Mania Plus The Sonic Mania Plus add-on is finally out, and as advertised, two new characters join the big three of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. Mighty the Armadillo, and Ray the Flying Squirrel from SegaSonic the Hedgehog fame join the fray. They aren’t exactly household names to the casual & average Sonic fan though. Outside of appearing in SegaSonic the Hedgehog, an arcade game from the early 90s, they have only made very sporadic appearances.
