Resident Evil 4, one of the most popular games in the survival horror series, released for the Nintendo Switch this week. For a PS2 game, it still holds up pretty well, though it’s a little janky at this point. Even so, the port is missing one crucial ingredient: gyro controls and aiming. The Switch has great motion control capabilities built into the Joy-Cons and Pro controller. Splatoon 2 was one of the first shooter games on the Switch that really popularized gyro aiming, and provided players with a more fluid shooting experience whether you were playing in handheld or docked mode.

Ubisoft has prepped more content, some gameplay updates, as well as bug fixes for the guerilla shooter, and players can update their game now to see the benefits of Title Update 2. Depending on your platform of choice, there are different sizes of the latest Far Cry 6 patch.

This year’s League of Legends mid-season update is flooding the rift with dragons – elemental dragons, to be specific. Our age-old drake is getting revamped with a more detailed buff system, one that Riot hopes will keep the objective relevant throughout the game without spilling over into ‘life-or-death mandatory’ territory. The dragon pit for the first 35 minutes of the game will spawn one of four elemental dragons, each with a unique buff.

Mass Effect Legendary edition is bringing about all kinds of hidden facts that fans never managed to find when the games originally released. One of those is an awesome Easter egg that can be found in Mass Effect 3 dedicated to the Mars rover. This cute little secret was revealed in a recent Reddit post by former BioWare Cinematic Designer Richard Boisvert, as he explained that he placed it in the game all those years ago and wasn’t sure anyone had ever found it.

Shenmue 3 is finally here and it continues the fascinating tale of Ryo Hazuki, a teenage martial artist who has journeyed from Yokosuka, Japan, to the mountains of Guilin, China, in search of his father’s killer, Lan Di. The story is brought to life by some excellent voice acting talent and so here we’re going to celebrate that by introducing you to the voice cast.
