Pokemon Sun and Moon – Multiple Saves

Pokemon Sun and Moon are finally out and players all over the world will be checking out what’s new in the region of Alola. With the new Poke Ride ability, a bunch of new creatures, and older Pokemon returning in new forms, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into in Sun and Moon. To really see everything there is in the game, you may want to have multiple saves.

Unfortunately, the games both don’t allow for multiple save files, and you can only have one save file per character as per usual in the series. If you do want to start over again, you’ll need to erase your current save data.

To do this, all you need to do is hit the Up button on the d-pad, and the X and B buttons during the game’s intro movie. This should skip the movie and the game will ask if you would like to erase all of your save data. Confirm this and you’ll be all set to start off on a new Pokemon adventure in Sun and Moon.
