Triangle Strategy is a brand new tactical RPG developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix, and it’s just been released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The game features the same beautiful HD-2D graphical style we saw in Octopath Traveler, and serves as a homage to old-school tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. Here’s how to promote units in Triangle Strategy.
Promoting Units in Triangle Strategy
These Medals can be used at levels 10 and 20 respectively to promote a unit into their next advanced class, and can be obtained as battle rewards, or purchased from Archibald at the Tradepost in exchange for Kudos.
Press X to bring up the menu, then choose the Encampment option.
Archibald will also let you know when a unit is ready for promotion when you speak with him.
Each unit can be promoted up to two times, but considering that the Medals of Bravery and Valor can be pretty hard to come by, we definitely recommend saving them for the units that you know will be mainstays in your roster. You should also consider taking a look at the skills they can learn in the future by looking at their character info screen before making a decision.
Promotion will strengthen a unit considerably, giving them more health and strength, and that will definitely give you a bit of an edge in combat.
That’s all you need to know about how to promote units in Triangle Strategy. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
