How to Beat Mister Negative in Spider-Man PS4

One of the last boss battles you’ll need to take on in Spider-Man PS4 is the one against Mister Negative. Despite having faced off against him at an earlier point in the story, he manages to get away and live to see another day. And so, once you do cross paths once again, you both kinda vow that the other isn’t gonna be getting away this time. Here’s what you need to know how to beat Mister Negative in Spider-Man PS4.

Spoiler Warning: The following post contains some spoilers regarding one of the main villains (Mister Negative) and boss battles in Spider-Man PS4. If you’d like to experience it and figure out the strategy for yourself, we advise turning away now.

Oddly enough, Spider-Man PS4’s boss battle against this baddie is pretty easy. All you really need to do is grab and fling projectiles at him while he’s in his weird negative energy state. When he returns to normal, you’ll have a brief window to press Triangle to zip over to him and land a few hits on him.

Don’t bother trying to deal out damage with your fists or gadgets to Mister Negative in Spider-Man PS4 when he’s all glowing and stuff. Simply put, it isn’t going to work and it’ll even cause you to lose health, or you’ll just waste gadget ammo.

Eventually, he begins calling in some additional goons to make things a little more interesting. To avoid these, simply use R2 to swing around the room you’re fighting in, and press Circle whenever the dodge indicator appears to avoid any incoming damage.

He will also conjure up the negative energy into some weird giant dragon spirit… thing. It’ll try and fire a bunch of projectiles at you, but again use dodge to avoid incoming projectiles and wait it out. If you’re able to, you can use L1 and R1 at the same time to fling some back towards Mister Negative, if you want to deal damage and speed things up a bit.

Eventually, he’ll tire himself out again and return to his normal form. This is where you want to zip back down to him and start attacking him as much as possible. As soon as you see him change form, it’s back to the ceiling we go for web swinging around.

If you simply rinse and repeat this process, it won’t take long until you’ve beaten Mister Negative and can continue on in your adventure in Spider-Man PS4.
