MLB The Show 22 is nearly here. On Apr. 5 you’ll finally be able to jump in and start throwing fire as Jacob DeGrom, launching bombs with Shohei Ohtani, or robbing home runs with Byron Buxton. But what if I told you that there’s a way to jump into the full game before the official launch date? Here’s everything you need to know about how to play MLB The Show 22 early.
How To Play MLB The Show 22 Early
Opening weekend for the MLB is one week away and MLB The Show 22 comes out even sooner. But you can get in on the action today. The only catch is that if you have already pre-ordered the regular version of the game, then you might be out of luck.
In order to get early access to MLB The Show 22, you will need to pre-order the MVP ($84.99) or Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99). It’s also worth noting that this early access also applies to the physical version of the game. Big box retailers like Target and Best Buy have been authorized to sell the MVP Edition of the game starting Apr. 1.
If you already have the standard physical version of the game pre-ordered at a major retailer, it’s easy enough to go into a store and have someone cancel a pre-order for you. But digital pre-order cancellations can be tricky. It might be best to wait until Apr. 5. But if you would like to try, here are links to pre-order cancellation instructions for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo. Note that if you have already pre-loaded the game, you may not be able to get a refund.
That’s all there is to know about how to play MLB The Show 22 early. For more news, guides, and reviews, search for Twinfinite.
