Where E3’s Location Is
Every June another E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) rolls around, and the gaming industry comes together to build one giant hype machine. It’s the yearly ritual for developers and publishers to announce their latest surprise games, show off some snazzy trailers, and generally mingle with the press, and now public, to show off what’s coming next.
Since the show is open to the public now, many people are probably wondering just where it is. Well the answer to that is easy, the same place it’s been for almost all its years, Los Angeles, California. Although E3 moves around a little bit, it’s mostly been held in the Los Angeles Convention Center, right in the heart of downtown LA, and it’s been there straight ever since 2008.
In 2018 the show will run from Tuesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 14. Like usual, the two days before that, Sunday and Monday, will be when many the big companies like Microsoft, Sony, Bethesda, and more hold their press conferences. If you are interested in attending E3, you can look into signing up right here. Just be aware that the three-day “Gamer Pass” costs a pretty penny at $249.
