Released just a few weeks ago, Endwalker is the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, and it also serves as the conclusion to the story arc and conflict between Garlemald and Eorzea. There’s plenty of new story content to get through, and tons of side quests and endgame activities to check out as well. Here’s how to unlock the Excitatron 6000 in FFXIV Endwalker.

Unlocking the Excitatron 6000 in FFXIV Endwalker

The Excitatron 6000 functions very similarly to the Aquapolis treasure maps we’ve seen in previous patches, and you can access it by deciphering Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Maps. We’ve got a full guide here detailing how to obtain the Kumbhiraskin Maps, as well as how to unlock the Decipher action to access the treasure dungeons.

Once you’ve deciphered your map, head to the location as marked on the map to start the dungeon. Do note that even with the Kumbhiraskin Maps, you only have a 50% chance of getting to the Excitatron 6000. Because of this, it’s recommended that you have a few maps on hand so that you can attempt it as many times as you want.

There are tons of rewards, and lots of trial and error involved with getting those rewards too, so definitely grab as many maps as you can before heading in with a party. Considering that it’s a 50% chance of getting into the Excitatron 6000, however, it shouldn’t take long at all.

All Rewards in Excitatron 6000

You have a chance of obtaining various types of Materia and crystals from opening treasure chests and defeating monsters in the Excitatron 6000, but there are a handful of special rewards to look out for too. We’ve listed them down below:

  • Cloth of Happiness
  • On Blade’s Edge Orchestrion Roll
  • Finality Orchestrion Roll
  • Royal Lunatender
  • Archangel Wings
  • Pixie Wings

These special rewards have a higher chance of dropping the further you get into the dungeon, of which there are only five chambers. Occasionally, you’ll see clue arrows on the ground pointing you towards the right door to open after you’ve cleared a chamber, but you can expect to get kicked out of the instance every so often by picking the wrong door. As long as you have extra maps on hand, you can attempt the Excitatron 6000 as many times as you want to.

In addition to that, clearing chambers will also reward you with increasing amounts of Gil and Tomestones of Astronomy, which can be used to purchase better gear at Radz-at-Han.

That’s all you need to know about how to unlock the Excitatron 6000 in FFXIV Endwalker. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
