Money, or Mora as it’s referred to in the world of Teyvat, isn’t exactly the most valuable or rare resource in Genshin Impact, but you still need a ton of it to do basic things like upgrading your weapons or ascending your weapons. If you just keep spending it without a care in the world, you’ll run out of money pretty quickly. Here’s how to get Mora fast in Genshin Impact.

Getting Mora Fast in Genshin Impact

Almost everything you do in Genshin Impact will reward you with Mora. Killing enemies lets you earn a tiny bit of money, and every so often as you’re wandering around the open-world, you can spot a tiny glittering creature that will drop a ton of money if you chase it down.

However, there are two more consistent and reliable methods of getting Mora quickly, and we’ve listed them down below:

  • By completing Ley Line events.
  • By sending your characters out on expeditions.

The first method is great if you really need some quick Mora in a pinch. If you take a look at your map, you’ll find little circular icons that look like golden clouds against a green background. Head over there and interact with the Ley Line, and you’ll be tasked with defeating a group of enemies before you’re allowed to claim the reward, which is a ton of Mora, AR experience, and friendship levels.

Do note that you need to spend 20 Resin in order to claim the reward, which means you can do up to eight Ley Line challenges each day to farm up some money. You can do even more than that if you have Fragile Resin to spare, which allows you to keep attempting these challenges even after you’ve burned all your regular Resin.

Besides that, you can also send your characters out on expeditions at the Adventurers’ Guild and have them bring some money back.

You can send up to five characters out on expeditions in Liyue and Mondstadt, and choose the ones that offer Mora as a reward. If you set the duration to the maximum of 20 hours, they’ll bring back even more money, which is a nice bit of daily income you can collect whenever you play.
