If you’ve burned through Unravel 2’s relatively short story levels already and you’re looking for some more yarn-infused platforming action, then the challenge levels are a pretty great way to spend some more time in the game. Once you’ve completed each of the game’s seven story levels, the little spark guiding you along your adventure will open up a new area in the Lighthouse when you return to this hub area. Simply head to these areas, and you’ll come across new secret areas with challenge levels to play through. To start one of these trickier levels in Unravel 2, simply walk into the weird static portal-thing as you would to start one of the story levels.
It’s worth noting that these levels will also unlock customization options such as new colors or designs for your Yarny. It’s not the most groundbreaking reward, but we’ll take it all the same.
