Back 4 Blood is a zombie co-op shooter from Turtle Rock, best known for their work on the popular Left 4 Dead series. This game is essentially a spiritual successor to L4D, and it builds upon that foundation with tons of new systems that add more depth to the gameplay. Here’s how the Supply Lines system works in Back 4 Blood.
Back 4 Blood Supply Lines Explained
After booting up the game and going through the tutorial, you’ll be taken to your base camp, where you’ll be introduced to the Supply Lines system for the first time. This is essentially Back 4 Blood’s version of an unlockable upgrades system that will reward you with cards to be added to your deck, as well as new weapons you can unlock in the game itself.
When in the base camp, simply follow the red marker to find a small military tent with a computer inside. Interact with it to bring up the Supply Lines menu, and you can start spending your Supply Points to unlock stuff.
The good news is that while there are multiple Supply Lines to explore, you’re not locked into any of them exclusively. You can unlock a few upgrades in The Crow’s Nest for instance, then swap over to Paul’s Alley to get some stuff there as well. Everything has to be unlocked in order, though, so if you see something further down the line in one of the Supply Lines that you really like, it might be a good idea to rush that one first.
How to Get Supply Points
As the name suggests, Supply Points are the currency you use to unlock rewards from the Supply Lines. These are awarded to you naturally as you play through the game, and even if you’re just blasting through the campaign on Recruit difficulty, you’ll easily earn hundreds of points by the time you reach the end.
If you want to farm Points, though, there are some levels that are more efficient for that. For instance, the 4-4 mission in Act 1 with the Howitzer is a pretty good one to check out. You can have a player manning the turret to mow down the Ridden quickly, while the others focus on defending and keeping them out with tools.
Listed below are a few ways you can farm Supply Points quickly:
- Check the Achievements tab in your menu for little things you can accomplish to get some quick points
- Play the campaign on higher difficulty levels
- Grind out shorter missions such as the Howitzer mission
That’s all you need to know about how the Supply Lines system works in Back 4 Blood. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
