I have to be honest, I’m a bit skeeved out writing this guide. After all, who wants to attract flies, right? In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, though, catching and attracting bugs is the name of the game. So in this short guide we’re going to go over how to get flies in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Again, gross.
How to Get Flies in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Funny enough, the way to get flies in Animal Crossing New Horizons really isn’t that much different from real life: you have to leave garbage around.
Flies are ugly, annoying and they love garbage, the opposite of most of you reading this I’m sure! Still love you though if you can relate to flies.
During the course of your time on your island you’ll come across various “junk” items such as fished up boots and cans. Although they serve other purposes such as crafting or just being sold, you can also just leave them around if you don’t need them.
If you leave garbage around long enough, it will eventually attract flies. While I personally don’t understand it, big time Animal Crossing fans treat bugs like Pokemon. Gotta catch ’em all I guess!
