Does Monster Hunter World Have PvP Multiplayer?
Monster Hunter World has taken the gaming world by storm, and hunters all around the globe have recently spent many hours hunting ferocious monsters together. The cooperative nature of Monster Hunter is one of the game’s biggest selling points, and building a bond through intense fights with intimidating beasts is an experience that only Monster Hunter can offer. However, hunters might be wondering if Monster Hunter World has PvP multiplayer. After all, what better way would there be to see who has the better armor, weapons, and skill? With so many menus and systems to navigate, missing PvP multiplayer in Monster Hunter: World would be easy, and we’re here to help.
Unfortunately, Monster Hunter World does not currently have PvP multiplayer. Generally, the Monster Hunter series has not had many modes in the vein of PvP multiplayer, and the closest thing the series has ever had to PvP multiplayer were arena-style competitions where players competed to kill a monster faster. At its core, Monster Hunter is a cooperative, team-based game, and player-on-player multiplayer is not likely to come anytime soon. For now, hunters will have to settle for arm wrestling and “accidentally” nailing their teammates with a switch axe.
