It has been a while, but the adorable Kirby is back for a new adventure, this time in three dimensions for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. With plenty more powers to utilize and even more levels to explore, there is much for players to get into. However, there are going to be some obstacles standing in the way as well, with bosses being one of them. If you are having trouble beating the third boss of the game, here’s how to beat Clawroline in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
How to Beat Clawroline in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Compared to the other bosses you have faced thus far, Clawroline is definitely a tough cookie. She is very agile and fast, and her attacks are very dangerous.
Phase 1
At the start of the fight, be ready to keep some distance to avoid her double claw swipe. This is followed by a ground slam that has a slight delay while she is in the air. To avoid the area-of-effect damage, simply jump at the right timing.
If you see the spotlight shining at you, then prepare for a charge attack. Wait for the right moment, and slide to either side to avoid Clawroline. The opportunity for Kirby to attack will be immediately after avoiding these attacks from Clawroline, be sure to also gather up the stars for ranged attacks. Deal enough damage and the second phase will begin.
Phase 2
In the second phase of the Clawroline battle in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the boss will use the scaffolding around the arena to her advantage. She will start using knives as a ranged attack, which can be avoided by staying in motion. If you are able to, take some potshots at her using Kirby’s Ranger ability.
Once more, when you see the spotlight shining down on you, get ready to jump as Clawroline dives down for direct damage and an area-of-effect ripple. Avoiding the hit will allow Kirby to attack the boss. In addition to these new moves, the fight is similar to the first phase, so keep at it and victory will be yours.
