The original Gen 4 games are the ones that created the issue of there being too many legendaries in-game. Legendaries are heavily integrated into the story of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl so yeah, there’s a lot to catch! In this guide, we’ll go over one of fourteen legendary Pokemon native to Sinnoh. Here’s how to get Uxie in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Catching Uxie in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
For starters, if you want to catch the Knowledge Pokemon Uxie, you’re first going to need a few prerequisites. You must have progressed through the game far enough to have battled either Palkia or Dialga, depending on which game you have. Progressing through the story will get you there, and after you’ve gotten past that point, you’ll be eligible to find and catch Uxie as the people blocking the entrance to its lair will have moved.
Your first step is to fly on over to Snowpoint City and head on over to Acuity Lakefront, which is connected to the city and is the bridge between Snowpoint and Route 217. Super simple, right?
Connected to this route is the Lake Acuity, which will now be restored at this point in the story. Odd that it isn’t completely frozen over, but whatever just look past it. Surf over to the cave at the center of the lake. Enter and you’ll be greeted by Uxie who is now hanging out in the center of this cavern waiting to battle.
Obviously, make sure to save your game in case you screw up (or if you want to shiny hunt, bless your soul). We highly recommend bringing Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, and a Pokemon that can dish out either Sleep or Paralysis to make your life easier and ensure that you catch Uxie.
That’s all you need to know for how to get Uxie in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. For more FAQs answered and other tips, tricks, and guides visit our Pokemon Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond guide wiki and check out our review for our complete thoughts on these remakes.
