Ghost Recon Breakpoint is Ubisoft’s most recent online tactical shooter released in 2019. Ever since, the developer has been supporting the title with both big and small content updates that have added new modes, gear and more to the muddled experience that launched. However, following an update from Ubisoft yesterday, some players are wondering if Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be getting more updates.
Will There Be More Ghost Recon Breakpoint Updates?
Following the announcement yesterday, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will no longer receive any major content updates.
“The last four months marked the release of our final piece of content: the brand new Operation Motherland mode, tons of new items including 20th anniversary iconic outfits and Quartz items for Ghost Recon Breakpoint,” the announcement reads.
“We will continue to maintain our servers for both Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint and we truly hope you will continue to enjoy the game and have fun playing in solo or co-op with your friends.”
While there will be no more content updates for the game, there is a chance that there will be the occasional hotfix or patch to improve server connection stability. These won’t be anything exciting though, so as far as interesting updates goes, we’re at the end of the line for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
