Pokemon Sword & Shield’s 800-strong Pokedex sees the return of many iconic Pokemon from previous games. This includes Pokemon like Meowth and its evolution Persian. Here’s how to get Persian in Pokemon Sword & Shield.
As you may have deduced from the above, you’ll first need to find and catch a Meowth before you can think about getting a Persian. Unfortunately, you can’t actually get a Meowth in Sword & Shield by simply capturing. Instead, you’ll need to trade for it by catching a Galarian Meowth.
How to Get Meowth
Galarian Meowths can be caught in the Route 4 area of the game. You should find them to be a fairly common spawn among the yellowish grass.
Once you have you Galarian Meowth, return to the Turrfield Stadium in Route 4 and speak with the young child in the blue jacket. He’s looking for a Galarian Meowth and will trade his Meowth for one.
Now you’re ready to get a Persian.
