There are 100 unique species of Bugsnax to catch in this new indie adventure title from Young Horses. You’ll spend time interviewing the people of Snaxburg, investigating the whereabouts of a famous explorer, and uncover the real truth behind the half snack, half bug creatures. If you’re needing help with how to catch Noodler in Bugsnax, we’re here to guide you.
How to Catch Noodler in Bugsnax
It’s worth noting before we begin that there are several different methods when it comes to capturing Bugsnax. You might find a different way to catch a Noodler that’s not mentioned here but this is how I managed to catch it myself without putting in too much effort.
Now, the Noodler is found in a lava cave in the Boiling Bay area. There are a couple of them in here so they shouldn’t be hard to find. Catching them, on the other hand, is a different story.
You can try to grab them with your hands or in a trap, but since the Noodler is always on fire, you won’t be able to. You need to find a way to cool them down a little bit and that’s where the Paletoss come into play.
You should see Paletoss wandering around the cavern and it emits ice from its body, so if you touch it, you’ll freeze up for a few seconds.
You need to lure the Noodler out of the lava and towards one of the Paletoss’ in the area to cool it down so that you can grab it.
The Noodler in Bugsnax loves Cheese sauce and Hot sauce, and you can use these to lure it. You can shoot on the ground with your Slinger or (the easier method) use the Buggy Ball.
Coat the ball in your sauce of choice and then have the Noodler follow it while you guide it towards the icy creature.
Once they come in contact with each other, the Noodler will stop burning and you’ll be able to just go up to it and grab it without a trap.
Try to be careful when doing this. If you touch the Noodler while it’s burning, you’ll catch on fire and it can be annoying. Try to stand back behind it, as I did in the image below:
