2017 is looking to be a packed year for the PS4 with over 100 games set to release over the next 12 months, not to mention all the games yet to be announced or those that haven’t received release dates just yet. A surprising amount of those games happen to be exclusives, meaning you aren’t going to see them on any other console no matter how hard you look.
And these aren’t just a bunch of indie exclusives either (not that there’s anything wrong with those). There are some heavy hitters from AAA studios both first and third party. There are also a few notable console exclusives that the PS4 will be sharing with the PC.
It’s definitely going to be an interesting 12 months, and we can only imagine how crazy things will get as more games are added to the schedule.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (say that five times fast) brings two fully playable games and a CG movie just like the previous compilations in the series (I.5 Remix and II.5 Remix). You'll get an HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance (previously only available on the 3DS), as well as a brand new adventure titled Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage. Guerilla Games' newest IP is an open world action game that has players exploring a world reclaimed by nature while dealing with robotic fauna. Using the brand new Decima engine, it will be interesting to see what feats this game can pull off on the PS4.NieR: Automata - Mar. 7
NieR: Automata is an ARPG from Platinum Games being published by Square Enix. Its use of large, flashy fights, clever camera angles, and beautiful backdrops make it an interesting experience. While this title is confirmed to be heading to PC as well, the only confirmed release date is for the PS4 alone. The PC version is slated for a 2017 release as well.Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 Remix - Mar. 28
Kingdom Hearts' 15 year anniversary is approaching. To celebrate, Square Enix is releasing Kingdom Hearts I.5 and II.5 once again as a bundle on the PS4 so players can catch up on everything before Kingdom Hearts III releases in the future. There are six games to enjoy with four being playable and two as CG films. You'll get to play the Final Mix versions of both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Re: Chain of Memories, and Birth by Sleep, with 358/2 Days and Re:Coded packaged as films.MLB: The Show 17 - Mar. 28

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was yet another masterpiece from Naughty Dog, but they aren't done with this series just yet.
