Snap Seeds in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Developed by FromSoftware, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is third-person action game with an in-depth combat system, along with a variety of consumable items you can use to your advantage in a fight. Here’s how to get Snap Seeds in Sekiro.

What Snap Seeds are For

Snap Seeds are type of consumable item that can be used dispel illusions and apparitions. Whenever you encounter apparition-type enemies or illusion-based attacks, you could use Snap Seeds or dispel the attack or stun that particular enemy.

They’re particularly useful in the boss fight against Lady Butterfly when she summons her illusory children, or against the illusory enemies in the Hidden Forest.

Where to Get Them

Before you fight the Corrupted Monk at Fountainhead Palace, you’ll only be able to pick them up at certain locations as listed below:

  • Hirata Estate: Talk to the injured NPC right before the Lady Butterfly fight.
  • Ashina Outskirts: Opposite the palanquin which you used to hide from the Great Serpent during the first encounter.
  • Hidden Forest: On the roof of the house where the Mist Noble is located.
  • Sunken Valley: At the very bottom of the valley, where the poisonous swamp is, you can find some Snap Seeds next to the Toxic Memorial Mob.

Once you beat the true Corrupted Monk, however, you’ll obtain a Dragon table key item, which greatly improves the stock of all the vendors and merchants in the game. With this item in your inventory, you’ll be able to buy valuable items like Divine Confetti and Snap Seeds from the peddlers and Memorial Mob vendors.

This allows you to have a healthy stock at all times, so you don’t have to worry about running out anytime soon.
