Just Cause 3 takes place in a large, open world so it’s only natural that it would be filled with tons of neat secrets. We’ve already told you about the interesting ruins located off of the main map, but now we’ve found something really cool. If you journey to the lake in the center of Val De Mar, located in the southern half of the Insula Striate (northern island) you’ll find the sweetest rides available in the game.
Check the northeastern edge of the lake indicated on the above map and you’ll find two Rubber Ducky jet skis laying in the dirt. You’ll have to pull them over to the crystal blue lake using your tether (watch out for the rocks and all of the falling trees). Once you have it in the water, you can ride around as you please. It’s not very maneuverable, nor is it incredibly fast, but come on, it’s a friggin’ Rubber Ducky that you can ride.
The lake happens to be land-locked with no garage nearby so unfortunately this may be the only spot you can find it at. It also doesn’t show up in the Rebel Drop menu as a possible unlock. It’s a long way to go for a fun little excursion, but it’s definitely worth it.
Have you given the Rubber Ducky a test ride yet? Happy to stumble across this bright little secret hidden behind the trees? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
