Today Sunrise released a new trailer of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway anime.
The series will debut exclusively on Netflix “soon” with no airing date or window announced for the moment.
You can watch the trailer below.
If you’re unfamiliar with Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, it’s the latest installment of the long-running Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, and it’s one of stories set in the original Universal Century timeline, precisely in U.C. 105, twelve years after the Second Zeon War.
It’s based on a novel series by Yoshiyuki Tomino titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, and it portrays the struggle of Bight Noah’s son, Hataway Noah, as he fights against the Earth Federation’s corrupt government after it squandered the chance at a reconciliation with the spacenoids.
The original novels debuted all the way back in 1989, while this series of three films was originally announced in 2018 and delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it appears that we’re finally a bit closer to watching it.
Speaking of Netflix, earlier today we saw the first trailer of the new Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
