How to Hatch – Pokemon Sun and Moon
Hatching eggs in Pokemon is one of the best ways to get yourself one of the strongest teams to have ever lived. Of course, to get yourself Pokemon eggs to hatch in the first place, you’ll need to first send your ‘mon over to the Nursery to breed.
Once you’ve got yourself a Pokemon egg, you’ll have to start taking steps in order to hatch it. The number of steps you have to take for each egg can vary depending on what species it’s for, however, there are a couple of ways to speed up the process than just simply carrying on with your adventure. First, make use of your Taurus Poke Ride and press B to charge. Doing so will count as a bunch of steps at once and will quickly reduce the amount of time you have to wait to hatch an egg.
You can also speed up the process by making sure you’ve got a Pokemon with the Flame Body ability in your party. This halves the hatching time of your egg by keeping it nice and warm. If you’re struggling to find a Pokemon that has this ability, keep an eye out for a Magmar as these do.
Finally, the best way to hatch eggs it to use your Taurus Poke Ride charge ability and continue to do this in a circle outside the Nursery. By staying so close, you can keep an eye on the lady outside the nursery, who signals that a new egg is ready for you to collect by folding her arms. This means you can keep the gap between your current egg hatching and picking up the next one to a minimum rather than wasting precious steps in between.
