How to Kill Survivors in Dead By Daylight
Dead By Daylight gives players the opportunity to play as both a survivor or a killer. Whichever they choose, there’s sure to be intense action. If you’re the Killer, you’re looking to get rid of all four survivors and score yourself some sweet points. You may have noticed that you can kill survivors, and that this is different from sacrificing them. Here’s how to kill survivors in Dead By Daylight.
First and foremost, it’s true, placing them on any hook is not going to count as a kill. That’s a sacrifice and while it does net you a lot of points and a “win” so to speak, it won’t get you any extra bloodpoints from Daily Rituals that require it.
To kill, you need to either have a perk that will let you do it after certain conditions are met, or a Mori offering which will let you do it in the game.
Each killer has a distinct animation when performing this action, and it’s done when a survivor is in the dying state. You need to hold the right trigger or any parallel command. When a bar is filled up, you’ll have triggered your mori animation.
This instantly kills the survivor as if they had been hooked and sacrificed. It’s a good technique to keep as an ace up your sleeve in case anyone is being extra pesky and hasn’t already been hooked twice.
That’s it! That’s all there is to killing survivors in Dead By Daylight. If you need any more help with the game, you should use our search bar up top to find some guides. If you’d rather ask us directly, you most certainly can. Leave a comment down below and we’ll do our best to help you out.
