HOW TO TAKE OFF BAYEK’S HOOD IN ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGINS

As you may have gathered, Assassin’s Creed Origins tells the story of the Creed’s inception. Just as the Creed has not formally been established at the beginning of the game’s narrative, nor has Bayek become a fully fledged Assassin. This explains why at the very start of the story he does not wear his hood, as has been the case for every Assassin’s Creed protagonist since the very first entry in the series. In fact, there is a decent portion of the opening section of the game in which players will be able to wander around the open-world with Bayek’s hood down. Later in the game, though, Bayek’s status as an Assassin becomes much more of a formality and from this moment on he wears it up.

If, for some reason, you prefer to put your hood down and show Bayek’s pretty face you do have the option, though it’s not an action you can do while out in the open world. To toggle Bayek’s hood on or off, go into gear and highlight your outfit. You should see an option to toggle the hood by pressing Triangle/Y. Whatever you pick will stick until you decide to change it again.

That’s all the information we have on how to take off Bayek’s Hood in Assassin’s Creed Origins. For other guides and tips on the game, be sure to check out our wiki page.
