How to Get Shoot Style Deku (Izuku Midoriya) in My Hero One’s Justice

My Hero One’s Justice is the series’ very first foray into the world of video games, letting you play as some of the most popular characters from the anime, including villains. With a story mode, missions mode, arcade mode, and multiplayer options, there’s plenty to keep My Hero Academia fans interested. Of course, like with any fighting game, the roster is all-important and My Hero One’s Justice delivers pretty well on that front. If the main roster isn’t enough, there’s also a couple extra characters hitting on launch day, like Shoot Style Deku, or Izuku Midoriya if you want to use his full name. Here’s how to get Shoot Style Deku (Izuku Midoriya) in My Hero One’s Justice.

Shoot Style Deku won’t be available in the game at the start, but luckily, he’s pretty easy to get. The character is a free add-on for all players on launch day. In order to add Shoot Style Deku into your game all you need to do is add the character on like you would any other piece of DLC. Go to your respective system’s store, PS Store on PS4, eShop on Switch, or Marketplace on Xbox. Search for ‘My Hero One’s Justice’ and go to the game’s page. Navigate to the add-ons section and select Shoot Style Izuku Midoriya to download it.

Alternatively, you can access the store directly from the game’s main menu by hitting Options (PS4), Menu (Xbox), or the + button (Switch). Then you can select the character from there, and download him.

Shoot Style Deku is, of course, the main character of My Hero Academia, but his combat style is totally different from the standard Izuku Midoriya featured in My Hero One’s Justice. Like in the anime, this version of the character is focused on using his legs to attack, instead of his arms.

Shoot Style Deku isn’t the only add-on coming to the game at launch, as the first update for My Hero One’s Justice will also add on arcade mode, letting you play through a ladder-style tournament against CPU opponents. You’ll also be able to get another playable character, Endeavor, for free if you pre-order the game. Otherwise, Endeavor will be a paid DLC available on day one as well.

That’s exactly how you get Shoot Style Deku (Izuku Midoriya) in My Hero One’s Justice. You can also take a look at the full list of playable characters in the game.
