Black Hood – Final Fantasy XV
The Black Hood is an especially useful item in Final Fantasy XV that only Noctis can equip, letting him auto-dodge enemy attacks. It’s pretty tricky to get however, as you’ll have to not only find a secret dungeon in the game, but also complete it.
The secret dungeon is called the Pitioss Ruins, and the first step to getting there is to obtain the flying Regalia Type-F. This requires that you’ve made it to Chapter 15 and beaten the game, taken down Formouth Garrison to get the Strange Engine, and completed all of Cindy’s side quests. Next you’ll need to find the Pitioss Ruins, and you can see the entire walkthrough of how to do that here. You’ll need to go to the city of Lestallum at night between 21:00 and 05:00 and listen to a conversation. Eventually you’ll get an objective on your map with the ruin’s location.
After actually finding Pitioss, you’ll need to enter the dungeon at night and complete it. There are no enemies in the dungeon, but it’s filled with puzzle rooms and platforming challenges. Once you’ve reached the end of the dungeon you’ll find an elevator, and heading up it will drop you right in front of the Black Hood.
