Pokemon Sword and Shield is here and, obviously, there are a ton of new pocket monsters to catch. While yes, it might be sad to some of you that your favorites from previous gens didn’t make it, but there are still lots of new, cool ones to catch. This includes the Ground Cobra-like Pokemon, Silicobra. In this guide, we’re going to go over how to get a Silicobra and evolve it into Sandaconda.
How to Get Silicobra & Evolve Into Sandaconda
Finding Silicobra
Finding Silicobra’s location in Pokemon Sword and Shield isn’t too difficult. In fact, during the game’s story mode, you’ll come across a sleepy one on Route 6 that Team Yell will try and “protect” from you. While you can’t catch that specific one, Route 6 is filled with them.
Just run around, and eventually you’ll either get jumped by one or bump into one on your own. It’s not a particularly difficult Pokemon to catch or is incredibly rare to find. It seems to rank average in both those areas.
It also may appear as a Raid battle Pokemon in the Wild Area in dusty weather. If that’s the case, just beat it down and catch it at the end of the fight.
Evolving into Sandaconda
Fortunately for you, evolving your Silicobra into Sandconda isn’t terribly difficult. In fact, it’s very straight forward.
Simply level up your Silicobra to level 36 and it will evolve into Sandaconda. Not much changes after evolution. It will retain its mono Ground typing and its base stats will increase.
Sandaconda is quite bulky with excellent Defense, and it also has Attack stats, but it’s definitely on the slower end, and has only soso HP and Special Defense and poor Special Attack.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Silicobra and evolve it into Sandaconda in Pokemon Sword and Shield. For more tips, tricks and FAQs answered, be sure to check out our Sword and Shield wiki guide.
