How to Fix Party Not Ready Issue in Apex Legends & What It Is
Apex Legends is the talk of the town right about now. Not only has it entered the battle royale genre, immediately getting everyone hyped, it also brings its own unique twist with its Legends’ various abilities. Problem is, sometimes you can’t get into a game. Here’s how to fix the Party Not Ready issue in Apex Legends and what it is.
Why Does the Party Not Ready Error Happen?
When you’re at the Lobby screen in Apex Legends, all you’ll need to do is hit the Triangle/ Y button to ready up and begin the game. Doing this should see a tick appear next to your username above your chosen Legend, replacing your Player Level. However, sometimes this does not occur.
Problem is, sometimes Apex Legends won’t begin searching because it says the party isn’t ready.
If you’re the only player in the lobby, though, there’s no actual way for you to ready up aside from beginning matchmaking. It’s a bit of an annoying bug that’s been plaguing a fair few players, but it’s not completely unavoidable.

It is possible to ‘fix’ the Party Not Ready error in Apex Legends. If this happens to you, simply log out of the game and jump back in. It’s not the most ideal solution, but it at least means you can dive back into the action, rather than simply staring at the lobby screen hoping it’ll fix itself.
Hopefully, EA and Respawn will roll out a patch with a permanent fix to the Party Not Ready error soon, but for now, this little workaround will have to do.
