Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is easily one of the most hotly anticipated video game releases of the year. It features a gritty sci-fi setting that makes it unique and sets it apart from most other open-world games, and puts players in control of V, a mercenary who gets caught up in corporate espionage and the other complications that come with body augmentations. Here are our recommendations for the best controller settings for Cyberpunk 2077.
Best Controller Settings for Cyberpunk 2077
Even if you’re playing the game on PC, you might prefer experiencing the game with a controller in general. That being said, the default controller experience doesn’t exactly feel very smooth for the PC build, and you’ll likely have to tweak the settings around to make the game feel better to play.
If you feel like the gunplay and combat feels sluggish with slight input delay, it might be better to tweak the settings so that the sticks feel more responsive.
To do this, head to the Controls tab from the pause menu, then scroll all the way down to adjust your controller settings for both the first-person and third-person cameras. You’ll want to tweak the horizontal and vertical sensitivity sliders, and turn them up so that the game feels more responsive.
We’ve found that going up to around 35 for the sensitivity sliders helped to make the gameplay feel a little smoother, though you can turn it up or down even further until it suits your preferences.
If it’s still feeling sluggish, though, turn on Advanced Options under your controller settings, then turn the horizontal and vertical turning bonuses all the way up.
This will allow the game to apply extra sensitivity and turning speed when you’re pushing the analog sticks all the way in any direction, and may help the game feel smoother and more responsive.
