There are a fair few Crew Challenges to uncover in Borderlands 3‘s Tazendeer Ruins area. That’s why we’re here with a breakdown of each one’s location to make sure you nab them all with minimal headaches.

Every Tazendeer Crew Challenge Location in Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3‘s Tazendeer Ruins area ranks among one of the more densely packed areas Crew Challenge-wise, with 8 total locations you’ll need to find. This includes three Typhon Logs; a Typhon Dead Drop; two Dead Claptraps; a Target of Opportunity; and a Crimson Radio Station.

While some are easy to spot, others are trickier to uncover unless you know where to look. To that end, use the directions below to make sure you don’t have to make more than one pass of the area.

Borderlands 3 Tazendeer Ruins Crew Challenge Locations – Crimson Radio Station

The Crimson Radio Station in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins area can be found in the area to the right of the main Maliwan encampment found halfway through the map.

To reach it though, you’ll need to circumvent an energy barrier from below the Station. This can be done by going to the custom waypoint on the map above, and then jumping down onto some wreckage below. From there, you can grapple up onto the platform where the Station is from behind using a stack of crates.

Borderlands 3 Tazendeer Ruins Crew Challenge Locations – Dead Claptraps

The first Dead Claptrap in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins area can be found at the back of a small side passage of an open area near the Fast Travel Station. It can be found strung up on the wall by some of the world’s alien plant life.

The second Dead Claptrap can be found in at the base of a small waterfall at the northern-most point of the lower left portion of the map.

Follow the passages and paths of the area North until you reach a path that takes you to a small nook. Continue forward until you reach the back of the nook, and you’ll find the Claptrap lodged in the ground where the water is pooling.

Borderlands 3 Tazendeer Ruins Crew Challenge Locations – Target of Opportunity

The Target of Opportunity in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins Area can be found after reaching the primary Maliwan camp in the area; namely, in the area down the left path from the three you’re presented with after reaching the location.

Head down the left path until you reach the left-most edge of the path. The Target will reveal themselves after you’ve approached the temple idol with a chest beneath it.

Where to Find Every Tazendeer Ruins Typhon Log

The first Typhon Log in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins area can be found at the edge of a waterfall overlooking the lower-left portion of the map. Head to the edge of the triangular point of the ruined waterway and look on your right to find the log at the tip of the right side of the waterway.

The next Typhon Log can be found in a Maliwan camp located at the far left side of the map.

Head toward the custom waypoint marked on the map. Then, make your way through the Maliwan camp toward the far left side of the area. As you do, you’ll see a makeshift shack with a radio antenae on top of it.

Head into the shack, and at its end you’ll find the Log to the right of a chair and a fishing rod.

The final Log is only accessible after you’ve completed the Main Mission for the area, as it’s located in the Vault Typhon unlocked alongside his wife. He’ll open the door to the vault after you’ve both reached the end of the area, and you can then find the Log in the back left corner of the Vault Room.

Where to Find Typhon’s Tazendeer Ruins Dead Drop

After finding all of the Typhon Logs in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins area, you’ll be able to open Typhon’s Dead Drop. However, reaching it can be difficult, as it’s located just off of the map and near a ledge that can mean instant death if fallen off of.

As such, the safest route to it is through a side passage you can take. The entrance to the passage can be found at the purple custom waypoint marker on the map above.

That’s the location of every Crew Challenge in Borderlands 3’s Tazendeer Ruins area. For more on the title, be sure to check out our Borderlands 3 guide wiki as well as our list of things to do after beating the game.
