One of the most vital resources you can acquire in Spiritfarer is wood and lumber, meaning you’ll need to learn how to acquire the stuff as soon as possible. That’s why we’re here to walk you through how to cut down trees in Spiritfarer.
Cutting Down Trees in Spiritfarer
Cutting down trees in Spiritfarer is one of the easiest things to do in the game after you’ve learned the trick to it.
When you happen upon a tree you can cut, a glowing outline will appear around it. Once this happens, you can press the Square Button on PlayStation 4, the X Button on the Xbox One or the Y Button on the Nintendo Switch to trigger the animation for cutting down said tree.
This will cause Stella and Daffodil to go to one side of the tree each and turn their Everglows into saws. They’ll then get into position, and once they’re ready you can press the left and right directional buttons on the D-Pad to start sawing through the tree. Be sure to hold each directional button down until the saw is all the way to one side before switching to the other button to cut the tree down as fast as possible.
Before long, the tree will start to tilt, and after it crashes down to the ground you’ll be rewarded with a tidy sum of wood for your trouble.
What You Can Use Wood for
