Dragon Ball Z Kakarot lets you relive the biggest battles of the legendary anime series, playing through them with a bombastic combat system. There’s plenty of options and special moves to use in combat, but one thing that might elude most players is the Super Finish, which required very particular circumstances to use. With that, here’s how to Super Finish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
How to Super Finish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Super Finishes are ultra-flashy animations that play out at the end of a battle, if you meet the requirements. These are like the ridiculous finishers of past Dragon Ball games, such as Goku blasting someone into space with his Kamehameha.
Before we get into how to do it, we should say that you can’t do a Super Finish until you unlock transformations. This means that you’ll have to advance at least until Goku gets the Kaio Ken, which happens partway through the Frieza saga.
Time needed: 5 minutes.
Here’s how to do a Super Finish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
Only certain characters can go Super Saiyan, and you’ll need to unlock their transformation first. These characters are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Gotenks, and Vegito.
Since many enemies have lots and lots of health, you may want to not use Super Saiyan and Surge until you have your opponent below one health bar.
Using a Super Finish will see a crazy animation play out, and the first time you do so you’ll also be treated to the Flashy Finish achievement/trophy.
